That's Me!
Hi, I'm Michelle. I was born in the south but raised in Frederick, Maryland. My love affair with baking began when I was a wee little girl {although not much has changed}. My mom is a fantastic cook, as is her mom, as is her mom. "Grandmere," my great grandmother would put me to work in her kitchen in the center of a little town called Evereux. She didn't speak English and I didn't speak French (at the time), but cooking doesn't require a common language, it's like painting or writing, a form of expression.
I am a self taught baker with the assistance of a decorating class here and there and I love seeing an idea and making it happen. I am the queen of improvisation. I love a good challenge. I love starting from scratch and making something beautiful and delicious.
You know that movie 27 Dresses? That is my life. In addition to being part of many, many very special days...I got the chance to make some pretty amazing cakes!
